Living for Eternity – The Ancient Egyptians is a major Heritage Malta exhibition at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta, created with the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden, the Netherlands.

It looks beyond pyramids and pharaohs at everyday life, belief and ideas about death and the afterlife in ancient Egypt. Some objects can be explored further with the Smartify app.

Open daily 09:00-17:00 (last entry 16:30) from 21 November 2026 to 16 May 2027. Tickets: adults €8, youths/seniors/students €6, children €4, infants free.
