Malta Book Festival 2026

The Malta Book Festival, run by the National Book Council, is the country’s biggest celebration of books and reading. It started in 1979 as the Malta Book Fair.
Expect publishers’ and booksellers’ stands, author talks, readings and children’s activities across five days at the MFCC in Ta’ Qali. Scottish crime writer Ian Rankin is among the announced guests this year.
